Offically, I can now drive a school bus. Took the practical test this morning and passed it with flying colors. The instructor had me started out with the Pre-Trip. I did very well. I missed to out of 8 allowable mistakes. On the practical or road test, I did very well. I made one mistake out of 8 allowable mistakes.
The instructor herself was impressed. I was confident. I took the test knowing that I would pass. I did.
Tomorrow, I will go to DMV to update my license. I should now have the class B driver license. Now that I passed this level, I am thinking about going all the way, getting another one---the truck (semi) driver license. That would be class A! I feel like just want to push myself as far as I can.
Mikey, the hiring manager for the Kent School District, contacted me for the opening position that she has. In fact, she wanted to get me in and start off this summer. This way by Fall, I shall be in their system and start my regular route. This is wonderful! This is going to quite a big change for me...
Drastic change from being an engineer making $120,000 a year to being a bus driver making $15 an hour. It almost cost me my health and my life while I was working as an engineer under a TREMENDOUS stress. Only I realized that money isn't worth my bad health---possible life. I am at a point now I would do anything else be it brain numbing or not just to get my mind off of this type of stress. I don't any job that involves taking the job home or anything that force me to do 14 to 16 hours a day...unless i want to do it. That would be on my own will.
Anyway, my life is on the changing lane as a bus driver!....................
